The VST Codec, based
on new generation compression technology, is optimized for video
surveillance applications.
Its compression
performance compares with the most advanced video codec, yet its
speed and features enable to use it easily in very demanding video
surveillance applications.
The VST Codec performs
best where the need is not only to encode and decode a video
stream, but to do it 16 streams at a time in a DVR. It is able to do
a fast decode and
search through a recorded stream, it can transmit the same stream to
several different client stations at different bandwidth and it can forward
and reverse a frame by frame playback stream, through a
remote access link.
